Our Practice
Before selecting any education package with Cardiff Consulting, we request a first meeting with students and parents for an in-depth consultation to discuss your needs and goals and more importantly, it is a time for our counselors to learn about you. During this consultation, we may ask students to complete diagnostic tests and related aptitude tests to better tailor packages for you. After the consultation, our counselors will provide detailed feedback, along with proposed education packages for your selection, within 48 hours.
Below are sample packages for other students. We build each package unique to each student.

Package for A. Lee
A 10th grader enrolled in her district's public school. She is fun, caring, and loves animals (but, her family does not have pets). She feels she is an average student, with grades that range between B- to A-. She likes writing more than math and would much rather spend her time drawing and painting. She's not good at sports, not good at music, and in general, is not drawn to any extracurriculars.
Even though she won't admit herself, A. Lee is a very passionate person. She was lacking confidence to express her passion and needed a support network to help her develop her talents. Her education package focused on aspects of child development to help her build responsibility and awareness of life and environment around her. This is a crucial time to develop understanding of herself and create awareness of who they are as an individual. In tandem, her education package began planning for college applications by examining her shortfalls in extracurricular activities, strategies for test taking, and improving her grades overall. She needed some one-on-one tutoring on select subjects, but needed longer sessions of public speaking sessions to improve her ability to express her ideas in a coherent way.
Package for J. Sue
A panicked 11th grader enrolled in private high school. He is focused, determined, and an excellent student. 4.0 GPA for much of his high school career, plays varsity sports, and participants in a fair amount of extracurriculars. He has high hopes for an ivy league university, but his SATs and related scores, in general, are not great and his essay writing is not coming together.
The package for J. Sue helped put together a stellar college application. He needed tutoring on SATs and help with essay writing. As tutoring began, our counselors found that J. Sue actually did not have trouble with finding the right answers for the test, but he was just so nervous and had so much anxiety. Our counselors spotted these red flags and helped J. Sue develop techniques for relaxation. Further, the child development aspect of the package helped J. Sue develop building blocks to achieve his ultimate career goals; helping him look beyond the test in front of him. Our counselors also set up tailored english language sessions for J. Sue to help him build stronger vocabulary for the medical profession, as he ultimately wants to become a surgeon.
